Bread and Puppet is one of the oldest, nonprofit, political theatre companies in the country. They are located in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, close to Walker’s childhood home. This show was performed on the eve of Walker’s first surgery; both to raise awareness about his illness, and as a healing ritual.
Before this illness, Walker was an active member of Bread and Puppet, he has spent countless summers at the farm helping with productions and playing with the band. We are eternally grateful for the support of this amazing community and hope that one day soon Walker will be healed and back at Bread and Puppet.
